Married At First Sight UK’s Peggy Rose Lawrence has revealed she quit her job after landing a five figure fashion deal.
The former IT professional, 32, who found love on the reality TV show with husband Georges Berthonneau, has teamed up with brand Girl In The Mirror.
In an interview with The Sun, Peggy announced she has left her role as a technology risk partner for her ‘true passion.’
She explained: ‘I never expected to leave MAFS and get a five figure fashion deal, I thought the show would concentrate on me being an academic geek and not really showing my true passion.
‘I have quit my job, I have realised that life is too short to be in a job you don’t enjoy. I was good at my job but I didn’t enjoy it like I enjoy fashion.’

She added: ‘The job I had before was not sustainable, I was making myself ill from the stress of it, it was ridiculous hours, a high-pressured role, I was one of the few females.’
Last month, Peggy teased a thrilling career move after appearing on the Channel 4 dating show.
It appears the star is ready to move on from reality TV as the series draws to a close, as she teased an exciting new career move.
The reality favourite will join the West End cast of adult pantomime Jack And His Giant Bigstalk, playing the role of Fairy Barbie.
The famous play is adapted from the famous English fairy tale, as Peggy seems to be booked and busy amid her new project.
It will star Big Brother star Simon Gross, who is playing a character called Queen Genetalia and also producing the production.
Peggy and Georges overcame their differences during the show and decided to stay together.
Peggy told how she was trusting Georges to ‘prove everyone that doubted you wrong’ after her family shared their uncertainty over their relationship.
She said: ‘This is by far the biggest decision of my life. My family want the best for me, and family and respect to me are everything.
‘They want me to be happy and put myself first. As much as I wanted to trust you, trust for me is something that is earned.
‘I may not trust easily, but I trust myself. And I also trust that you’ll prove everyone that doubted you wrong. So my decision is to stay and continue our story together.’
