A sumo wrestler identified as Tokushoryu burst into tears when he won the first major tournament of his career.
The 33-year-old sumo wrestler was the lowest ranked fighter going into the New Year Grand Sumo Tournament at the Ryogoku Kokugikan in Tokyo, Daily Mail reports.
Legit.ng gathers that Tokushoryu posted the video of the tournament on his official Twitter page on Sunday, January 26.
As soon as the 33-year-old beat Takakeisho at the end of the 15-day contest on Sunday night, January 26, the crowd cheered and Tokushoryu could not contain his emotions, weeping tears of joy.

Commenting on his victory, Tokushoryu said: "I might have cried too much, but at that moment I felt relieved from all the pressure.
"Deep down I'm feeling like: "Is it okay for me to win the championship?" I was the lowest-ranking fighter, so I had nothing to fear. I just had to give it everything I had."
Fans took to Tokushoryu's comment section to congratulate him, saying he deserves to win the championship.
